we are a family on a mission. our primary aim is that Jesus would be glorified in our lives and at university of the pacific. we believe that the Lord desires to send revival in our midst and our hope is to be a people of worship and prayer together.

HANNAH ILAO

Hello!! My name is Hannah and I am currenty a second year pharmacy graduate student. My life is pretty busy as a student but in my free time I love to listen to sermons and worship the Lord haha.

I've been with the Arise Church community since I was a freshman in college and the Lord has been so gracious and merciful to have grown and sanctify me through His word in this church. If there is one thing that God has taught me in college while being plugged into this community is that He is worth it all. Christ died on the cross, washed us clean of our sins, and made a way for us to be in fellowship with God our Father - how awesome is that!! Here at Arise, it has been an even greater journey to seek God alongside brothers and sisters that love God and love others as well! It'd be so awesome to have you join us!

SEUNGHYUN KIM

Hello! I am SeungHyun majoring in the pre-dentistry program at the University of the Pacific as a second-year student. I grew up in Seoul, South Korea, and I am currently learning guitar in my free time.

Arise is a special place for me because Arise's ministry introduced me to who Jesus is. The gospel shared by my brothers and sisters here helped me to recognize myself as a sinner, and I was able to find the need for a savior. Now for me as a Christian, Arise is not only a place where I do prayer meetings, Sunday service, and Bible study, but also a community that loves and serves Christ in humility.
